@tweedlydo You're a good writer and managing to be a good writer *while talking* is such a difficult skill - hopefully you know what I mean - it is to be admired! What a lot of work (and talent) you must have done to be able to do this. Also you have such a great voice/presence I could listen to you for hours!

This was fantastic. It's so wonderful you could bring your knowledge and passion to this project. Also so many questions!!!

(And that broken gear on the mill monument stabbed me in the heart. So weirdly I "collect" mining cemeteries/monuments and now must keep an eye open for those kinds of symbols since so many were created around that same time. To go to a ghost town in Montana or Nevada and see a symbol like on that in a forgotten cemetery or overgrown park, brought all the way there as a cultural memento from "back east" . . . wow that would be cool.)

@Argie speaking minnesotan is like speaking swedish in english, lots of attention lavished on vowels. i’m curious how thick my own accent is, because i hear it mostly in folks like kelly schneider in this doc.

@williwaw gosh, thank you so much! 🙇🏻‍♀️i really appreciated the historian’s perspective in this, and i really could learn more about monument symbolism!
