The story behind the cover is trying to tie together a diverse collection of stories told through music. So the final track is called The Dark Glass Sinfonia, there’s a track in the middle called Of Roses and Lilies (from Song of Solomon), and other tracks include the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic (finding beauty in chaos) and a musical setting of three of Edgar Allen Poe’s works (including the Raven and Tell-Tale Heart)… There’s another piece I nicknamed my “tarot piece” (I used tarot cards to construct it)… etc etc…
It just absolutely fits so beautifully! And shout out to @macmanx for creating the title SHARDS! It was his idea 🥰
