@waa Jeetje, yes it's den Haan.
I'm amazed you know about them.
I guess candles would work too. Or battery driven LED lights. Or an east german style Feuerhand Sturmlaterne.
But this is a beautiful object I think.

@hassebasse wow, a week.

@joost Almost the same here. I think the last official advice came in form of a flyer to each household about 2 or 3 years ago, which said every household should be able to manage for three days. Then they upped that advice already. Also, the Civil Defense Forces (which I am part of) have started speaking more about bomb shelters again, after kind of forgetting about this subject for 30 years. So something is definitely up.
@waa @hassebasse Civil Defense Forces; sounds like our old Bescherming Bevolking. Which we disbanded in 1980 apparently. Good grief indeed.
@joost For decades the Civil Defence (which is a kind of non-military conscription with some 8000 personnel with 3 weeks training) has mostly assisted in forest fires, search parties, floods and other natural disasters, plus a little in the pandemic. It is just now that we are talking more about our duties in an eventual war.
(I haven't prepared anything)
