A Couple of Things I Made

Just finished this weekend, rebuilding an arbor and garden bed for my wife, alongside our driveway. It was a blast to make real use of my newly-remodeled garage workshop, ripping, cutting, gluing and screwing together an arbor from cedar planks and sticks. Then a bit of digging to partially bury and place the garden bed boundaries (now level).

Our old arbor and bed were pre-built or kits, and the wood was just crumbling after a few years. Lots of lessons learned. Making arches well is difficult - "measure twice cut once" for me should be more like "measure thrice...". Anyhow, on to the next project!
