Reverse Clippy

An inverse version of the Clippy Microsoft widget (where an anthropomorphised paper clip would pop up and ask you if you wanted help).

This version looks like a medieval tapestry and the giant clippy is terrorising villagers.

It looks like you're going full-on Godzilla mode through a medieval town. Would you like some help?

Did not pay the tribute this month. Where is your first born?

First, I want to apologize. I really love this image. As a person interested in living history, yes, but especially as a "Microsoft orphan." (For several years, my dad's work schedule there was so shitty that we barely saw each other even though we only lived about a dozen miles apart - he sent me paper letters, in one of which he commented "I don't know why we are doing this. We have no competitors.")

But it doesn't look like tapestry, except in the generic sense of "any textile used as a wall covering" (as you see in some larp/casual reenactment where painted textiles are decorated and used as tapestries would have been). Tapestry is a weaving technique. This looks like a form of locker hooking.

I cannot begin to explain why I felt compelled to make this comment, because it is ridiculous, but I hope you will get a laugh from it!

@caitlinburke no need to apologise and that's a fascinating story.

FWIW I am almost certain this image is entirely digital, and comments at the link suggest it could even be AI. But for sure it's not a real three-dimensional object.

Oh agreed, shopped in some way, but the result depicted.
