The only time I got within the orbit of a daisy wheel was when I tried to get my dad to buy a Coleco Adam.

I had a daisy wheel typewriter hooked up to an Apple II in college. The cable cost more than the typewriter but was so worth it.

That would be an awesome retro project for someone to do.

OMG, the noise from daisy wheel printers was insane.
