They were such a weird band, and usually overlooked when 21st century music pundits argue over boomer music.

They were prolific with hits but I think most of their catalog slides away from view because of the heavy influence of old-timey British music hall, and Ray's and/or Dave's intense and highly specific nostalgia for the particular time and place of their childhoods.
