@Argie it has one or two tiny issues- it's harder to let air out of the tire, and regular presta pumps work but think the tire pressure is higher than it actually is- but the'yre a breeze to install and the top won't bend like the top of as Presta loves to do.
@wjcstp a standard Presta pump works with these, with the caveat that the pressure gauge read about 6-7 pounds higher. The valve uses a spring to hold itself closed, and that's the apparent relative change in pressure. I bought an adapter for my floor pump that gets rid of that problem, but I'm not going to worry about my travel pump until I'm sire I'm sticking with these.
My son and I watch a lot of Berm Peak videos on Youtube, Seth who runs the channel is a big Clik fan (and also openly part owner of Clik). The kid keeps trying to get me convert the whole fleet.
I am somewhat tempted - almost all of my bikes are tubeless, my presto cores inevitably seem to clog up with goop and make filling up take lots of time and effort. Need to look into if Clik will solve that problem, and how happy it is with sealant in general.
@cwhartman I've only done one of my bikes so far, but I'll probably switch the other two whenever I change something on their tires. I bought 16 valves and a pump adapter for about 70 bucks including tax, so I have enough supplies to outfit eight bikes for nine bucks each. Now I need to buy five more bikes to lock in the savings!
